More Photos of Ha Long Bay, Vietnam (October 31 - November 1, 2008)

Cat Ba Island is the largest island in Ha Long Bay, and it has a number of small fishing villages in addition to a growing town with a busy port
A large portion of Cat Ba Island is now a national park, with various trails for exploring. Here's the view from Ngu Lam Peak over the densely forested island
Hospital Cave doesn't look like much from the outside, but inside was a 3-storey hospital and hide-out used during the Vietnam-American War. In addition to hospital rooms, bedrooms and meeting rooms, the large complex had a cinema and small swimming pool!
Outside of Cat Ba Town are several small fishing and farming villages
Cat Ba Town's bustling harbor, filled with boats of every variety
